Anyway I’m so happy the Stranger really IS Gandalf, I would have been sooo disappointed if they’d only messed with us!! The way this episode took me on an emotional roller coaster ride.. I cried and I flailed and I gnawed on my boyfriend’s arm like a feral raccoon (don’t worry he’s okay he’s used to it).
The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it. What, Gandalf? See what? White shores. And beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise. Well, that isn’t so bad. No. No, it isn’t.
